About this service
In partnership with the Ministry of Child and Family Development, Encompass Support Services provides specialized supportive homes youth under the care of the Ministry. These programs offer a safe and predictable environment for youth in government care who require a supportive and stable living environment. The Ministry of Child and Family Development refers youth to this program who are supported by 24 hour staffing to assist in learning social and life skills important to further develop independence and assist them in reaching their goals. Many of the youth residing in these programs are in different stages of their lives which may include the need for: Safety and Security Unable to return home and are in care of the Ministry of Child and Family Development Support with trauma, mental health or emotional regulation. Youth who attend this program will be treated with dignity, respect and equality through the use of empowerment, empathy and compassion.
