About this service
This certified exercise, education and falls prevention program is geared towards people who are at risk of fractures and falls due to low bone density, osteoporosis or balance issues. Program emphasis is on building strength and improving balance through weight bearing exercises combined with flexibility training. The goals are to reduce your risk of falls and fractures, improve your ability to do day-to-day activities, increase your confidence and independence, improve your quality of life. This program is suitable for those with little or no experience with exercise or equipment. participants must be independently mobile to participate. Those with mobility impairments should refer to the Get Up & Go Program.
