About this organization
The feral cat work within this range keeps us very busy. Accepting tame cats is not within our scope (except if the cat was adopted out from CCR originally, in which case its tattoo would be in our files). We hope people with concerns regarding tame cats will take those concerns to organizations whose purview is helping tame cats.
Cowichan Cat Rescue (CCR) has three core programs:
Trap-Neuter-Return Program (TNR Program)
- Foster Care Program
- Barn Cat Program
When funds allow, we run a low-income spay and neuter program for people living below the official poverty line. That is the only part of our work that might receive funding from local government.
