The Family Preservation Program promotes the safety and well-being of Métis children and families, as well as preservation of family unity where childrens safety can be supported.
FPW advocates on behalf of Métis families, ensuring families are supported and connected with appropriate services. Support is also provided during the Family Court process and at meetings with other professionals in the community.
Families are encouraged to connect with their heritage through events and celebrations. Referrals are accepted from individuals, such as: self referral, MCFD and/or other community partners.
