About this service
KBC was established in 1975 when the Westbank Bible Chapel was running out of space for all of its members to gather. Rather than expand the current location, it was decided it would be far better to open another location in the heart of Kelowna to reach out into that community.
KBC humbly started off by renting space from another church to hold its services, to which it bought the building from them two years later. KBC currently consists of members from Winfield to West Kelowna and enjoys a variety of personalities and demographics.
KBC firmly believes in making a joyful noise unto The Lord and is very proud to have Heidi Hewitt as its music co-ordinator. Heidi and her husband Ray lead worship together most Sundays, but are pleased to include other musicians in the congregation led by Gord Fuller to help fill the sanctuary with the music of God!
