About this service
KDSCs Home Alone course for ages 8 11 is designed to provide children with important skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone, including how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied.
Upon the completion of this program, children will be familiar with:
- establishing a daily routine;.
- time management;
- identifying responsibilities while being home alone;
- what to do in case of an emergency and how and when to call 911;
- the basics of first aid procedures.
