About this service
ACES program provides support and training to individuals who are facing multiple barriers to employment, with the goal of supporting people to secure and maintain sustainable employment. Participants in the program receive employability and life skills workshops, safety certificate and skills enhancement training, and supported work experience.
Eligibility:
- Over 19 years of age.
- A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person legally entitled to work in Canada
- Living in British Columbia
- Not participating in another government funded labour market program
- Not a full-time student.
ACES program is managed by the John Howard Society of British Columbia (JHSBC), and delivered by regional John Howard affiliates across the province.
