About this organization

The Southern Interior Construction Association is an amalgamation of the Kamloops & District Building Exchange and the South Okanagan Contractors Association. As membership in both organizations grew it became apparent that the two organizations could function more efficiently as one. In 1962 the two organizations merged and in 1969 SICA was registered under the Societies Act.

Our members are a part of a collective voice, the SICA voice. This voice believes in fairness, transparency, and open communication in the construction industry. We are industry leaders who believe in promoting excellence in everything we do. Together our voice is changing the construction community and helping your business to grow. SICA needs your support to be able to carry on this leadership role on your behalf.
