About this organization

The Okanagan Halfway House Society is a non-profit organization that operates 3 halfway houses in Kelowna, B.C. Kelowna House is an enhanced facility that caters to residents who have statutory release with residency conditions. The house provides a highly structured environment. Residents are expected to fulfill all conditions of their release, attend CSC directed programs, follow curfew guidelines, and report in as required. The house is "dry". Therefore, all alcohol and drug consumption is prohibited regardless of release conditions.

All residents are assigned chores and are encouraged to seek and maintain employment once they are familiarized with life in the community.
