The Society provides quality community-based programs to stop violence against women and children, to support survivors and to promote legal rights, justice and services for women and children.

Main program areas:

  • advocacy, information and outreach: Specialized Victim Assistance, Women's Outreach Counselling, Community Justice Program
  • sexual assault counselling: Child and Youth Sexual abuse Intervention, Adult Sexual Assault/Abuse Counselling
  • education and abuse prevention: Girls United primary intervention and intervention with at-risk adolescent and pre-teen girls.
