About this organization

The Northern Society for Domestic Peace (NSDP) is a non-profit, social service agency that offers a continuum of support services to individuals and families in the Northwest BC. NSDP has offices in Smithers, Houston and Hazelton. Our work is guided by our vision of safety, equality, social justice and dignity. Our tools are crisis support, counselling, violence prevention, outreach, advocacy, education, collaboration and community development.

Please phone ahead for appointments. If there is no answer (counsellor is in session) please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible. If the local number is an answering machine response, and you need to speak to someone immediately, please call our Toll Free number below, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
