About this service

Boundary Women's Transition House provides services for women and their children who are at risk of violence or have experienced violence.

  • Temporary safe shelter and support for adult women and their dependent children. This communal setting offers food, laundry, transportation, and is staffed 24 hours.
  • Supportive counselling, referrals, resources, advocacy, & accompaniment to appointments, court support, and safety planning.
  • Assistance in developing healthy parenting skills, providing resources, and referrals.
  • We offer support for young women under the age of 19, via protocol with Ministry of Children and Family Development.
  • Support groups for women.
  • Community education, volunteer training, and educational programs.
  • We work from a Harm Reduction model.
  • We are pet friendly.
  • We also provide outreach, and drop in services for women and their children who are not staying at the Transition House.
