About this service
The Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) provides immediate emotional support and information to anyone 13 years and older, who have been sexually assaulted within the past 7 days.
The SART team provides:
- Emotional support, options available to survivors, and community referrals.
- Accompaniment to the hospital for medical care and forensic examination.
- Police involvement as requested by survivor.
- Court support and safety planning.
To access this service, call the Transition House: 250.442.3131 or toll free 1.855.441.3131 or attend at Boundary Hospital.
A police report is not necessary to access these services.
Who can use it?
13 years and older, who have been sexually assaulted within the past 7 days.
