About this service
Provides confidential individual and group counselling for women who have experienced current or past abuse inclusive of emotional, mental, sexual, physical, financial and/or spiritual. These experiences may be family, relationship or stranger based. Services include safety planning, self determination development, awareness education around abuse cycles and dynamics and strategies to take back life and build empowerment. This program is participant centered and together with a counsellor women work towards resolving the damaging effects of abuse which can include self-esteem, confidence, relationship issues, post traumatic stress, boundaries, coping skills and overall health.
