About this service
iRecover is nationally recognized as a leader in 12-step abstinence-based drug and alcohol treatment with locations in Alberta and British Columbia. In addition to medically supervised detox and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, we offer our alumni lifetime aftercare to support the individuals and their families in making a positive and permanent change in their lives. Participants in Alberta will be able to receive a psychiatric assessment and treatment available from addictions expert Dr. Avi Aulakh, MD, FRCOC, DABAM.
Our program during is 4, 8 or 12 weeks in length with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) being completed after the fourth week. Participants will receive one-on-one counselling, group counselling, fellowship meetings (both in-house and in the community). This is done as part of our inpatient rehab program (not as an outpatient rehab program).
