About this service
Our PEACE program stands for Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling, and Empowerment. It's available to children and youth ages 3 18, who have been exposed to domestic violence.
This program focuses on improving the child/youths emotional health and self-esteem and strives to:
- Teach them about the types of abuse and express their feelings and thoughts about violence in order to understand that family violence is not their fault.
- Help them develop problem solving skills and the ability to follow a safe plan.
- Help children work through their feelings that surface as a result of family violence, in a safe and confidential environme

Children and youth ages 3 18, who have been exposed to domestic violence.
