About this service
We support immigrant, refugee visible minority women, and women with immigration status issues, who are experiencing physical, psychological, emotional, financial abuse, sexual assault and any other offences related to abusive relationships. We help them to develop coping skills, assist them in self-exploration, and support them while they go through the different stages of rebuilding their lives. We help them to access the systems and we support them in their journey to find their own strength and renew their self-confidence, in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment.
We Offer:
- Individual counselling, advocacy and support at the office and/or over the phone to women experiencing any form of abuse/sexual assault/violence,provided by bi-lingual, bi-cultural workers
- Group counselling and support
- Counselling to women victims of any form of abuse
- Crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate resources
