About this organization
Operation of a thrift store to sell donated goods to raise funds for BASES programs to assist at risk children and families in southeast Burnaby to provide a variety of opportunities towards independence. During the year, numerous volunteers worked in the thrift shop and in the schools to help with various programs. The program opportunities aim to develop academic, physical, and personal potential of children and families through breakfast programs, homework clubs, sports, cultural programs, and community kitchens. New books are provided to elementary school students.
