About this service
A supportive recovery stabilization and transitional living program at the Kinghaven Treatment Centre site for up to six men age 19 and over who are in need of physical and mental stabilization related to drug and/or alcohol addiction. Program includes 26 life skills education, 12-step facilitation, relapse prevention, and work experience, while helping clients explore options, including treatment. No minimum stay; maximum stay is 90 days. A referral is required from detox or an addictions physician or addictions counsellor. Accepts men who are on methadone maintenance and have been stable for three months, as well as men dealing with mental health issues.
Who can use it?
Male, 19 Years or Older, 5 days sober, not on benzodiazepines, able and willing to participate
