About this service
Talia's Closet helps graduates celebrate their success by alleviating the monetary pressure associated with graduation. Graduation is a big milestone for all youth, and a tremendous accomplishment especially for teens who have faced disadvantages. It is also a very costly event. Talias Closet strives to alleviate some of the costs so that all youth can shine on their big day. Through Talias Closet, we provide graduates with free, gently worn gowns, suits and accessories. A local seamstress donates her time to make alterations as needed and youth get to keep their outfits. Local businesses also donate hair, make-up, photography and nail services to help offset the costs of prom. Students can enjoy a real shopping experience with a large selection, thanks to the generosity of these donors in our community. To Access Talias Closet. We need a referral from a teacher or school counselor confirming that the youth is graduating.
