About this service
Autumn House is a supported independent living program for youth 16 to 18 years old. Youth live in their own furnished apartments and have daily access to staff support. At Autumn House youth learn the skills to live independently such as grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning and in general to be good tenants and neighbours. Youth are also supported in their personal development and their pursuit of education and employment. Young parents are welcome in the program along with their children. Who We Help Youth 16-18 years old, who reside in Abbotsford and are either in care of MCFD or Xyolhemeylh or on a Youth Agreement. To Access Autumn House Referrals are made through MCFD and Xyolhemeylh only. The MCFD team leader collects the referrals and a committee of Social Workers from both agencies as well as Archway staff meet and prioritize for admission to the program.
