About this service

The APD SORT reaches out to the homeless population, with a focus on those experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental health issues. The team aims to educate, empower and encourage individuals to connect with available community resources and focuses on enforcement as a last resort. The team also works collaboratively with businesses to address issues of loitering and mischief matters in a cost-effective solution-oriented manner
