About this organization

COVID-19 Update: Effective immediately. All special olympics activities (practices, competitions, and events) have been cancelled until march 31st. Stay tuned.

Special Olympics British Columbia-Abbotsford, began its programs in 1986. Programs give athletes with an intellectual disability the chance to gain skills in sports and in life and improve their health while enjoying training that could take them to competitions at local, regional, national and international levels. Through Special Olympics, athletes experience joy and acceptance, cultivate friendships and self-confidence, and feel empowered to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Although the list of programs may change over time, we are currently offering:
