About this organization
To provide aftercare and transitional support to women who have completed an addiction recovery program. Helping clients create a plan and set goals in place, while providing the supports they need to reach those goals.
In order to Bridge The Gap between addiction recovery and living life free from the cycles of addiction, we provide the following services:
- Housing advisors, referrals and assistance
- Education: tutoring, referrals, information and support
- Job skills: teaching strategies, assistance with resume writing, cover letters, and filling out job applications; coaching; computer training
- Counselling: Professional individual counselling provided at the Lifehaven office; Family counselling available when appropriate
- Spiritual support: Support group meetings; Spiritual mentoring
