About this organization

With five health centres throughout the Lower Mainland, Health Initiative for Men is a non-profit society that aims to strengthen the health and well-being of gay men. We offer the full spectrum of gay men's sexual health testing, as well as professional counselling, sexual health education, and an engaging mix of social and volunteer opportunities.

Our 5 Health Centres in the Lower Mainland provide GBT2Q folks with:

  • Full-spectrum sexual health testing: Rapid and Standard HIV as well as STI testing
  • Vaccinations for Hepatitis A, B, as well as HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) for those under the age of 27
  • Counselling
  • Consultation with nurses
  • Anonymous harm reduction supply order and pick up
