About this service
This program supports families with children 0 to 18 years of age, utilizing proven and inclusive programs and practices. The Home Visitation Workers meet with families, in their homes, and in the community, to reduce risks and build resources, assess their strengths and needs, and to develop goals to support the healthy development of the family.
The Home Visitation Workers accept referrals from agencies such as Alberta Health Services, schools, CFS, Family and Community Support Services, FRN Family Enrichment Centre, formal and informal partners, and client self-referrals.
Family Resource Networks (FRNs) provide programs that strengthen parent and caregiver knowledge and builds resiliency and fosters well-being in children, youth and families. FRN believes that children who have supportive, caring adults in the early years are more likely to thrive as adults.
