Wheatland County Counselling offers big city services close to home. With a team of specialized therapists and efficient admin staff, we serve the communities of Strathmore and Drumheller utilizing a collaborative approach. Services are designed to be unique for each individual or family. Our services are private, fee for service, and are not covered by Alberta Health Care. Most extended health care plans cover counselling services, however you must ensure your benefit provider covers your therapist type. At times, we are able to offer funded (subsidized) programs. Please contact us to find out about our latest subsidy offerings. Services are available for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Staff are qualified to address a wide variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, family conflict, behaviour problems, stress management, trauma, custody loss, post-divorce adjustment, and more.
