About this service
This is a mobile outreach program providing after hours support in Red Deers downtown, city parks and river valley areas. A team of two walk the streets and paths 365 evenings a year with backpacks full of harm reduction materials, seasonal clothing, first aid supplies and snacks. Night Reach staff provide non-judgmental support and referrals for food, housing, health care, addictions, pregnancy support, legal concerns and employment services to many street-involved individuals. Staff also do debris clean up as required.
