Ronald McDonald House Red Deer - Short Term Accommodation

Any family from out-of-town with a child receiving medical treatment in Red Deer can stay overnight at Ronald McDonald House. Local families can access our Day Use Program, including our short-stay R&R Room. The House is also open to expectant mothers with high-risk pregnancies.

Our nightly fee is kept low to relieve some of the financial burden that all families with sick children face. No family is turned away based on income or family structure. Families from out-of-town can book one of our family suites for as many days, weeks or months as needed. To be eligible to stay at the House you must: Have a child under the age of 19 receiving treatment at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre or another local health/wellness provider OR have a high-risk pregnancy, have a referral from a professional advocate involved in the treatment of your child OR have a physicians recommendation to be in close proximity to the hospital prior to the delivery of your child.
