About this service
Paralegal Support Services provide the vulnerable citizens in our community and central Alberta with non-traditional strategies to address legal concerns and understand the legal process at a more confident knowledge level. Understanding complex and intersecting client needs and the barriers facing clients, including clients from vulnerable and marginalized groups is critical to the development of legal support programs and services. This includes services to Newcomers, Indigenous and onsite services within community agencies where vulnerable citizens attend. This service will include coaching and assistance with court and government forms and procedures in all areas of law, for all types of clients
Assist in the coordination between of legal supports within our community and work together to strengthen Red Deers ability to reduce barriers faced by our clients, as well work directly with communities in central Alberta and supporting partner agencies.
Who can use it?
Serve victims of domestic violence and vulnerable citizens in Central Alberta.
