About this organization

The Meals on Wheels program in Pincher Creek is a volunteer based community service run as a cooperative effort among the various partners. It is available to individuals who are aged, ill, handicapped, convalescent, or who lack the strength or motivation to prepare adequate meals.

The purpose of the program is to improve the nutritional status of the client, improvement in their physical, social and emotional wellbeing which enables them to remain in their own homes.

Meals on Wheels is available to clients either on a short-term or a long-term basis. For individuals convalescing from surgery, or illness, the service will provide the meals needed to help them regain strength at home. Meals on Wheels is a service that helps the individual remain independent. 403-627-3833(ext. 2)
