About this service
This program is designed to reach women, men and community members who are impacted by domestic violence. For example - eligible women may be leaving the shelter or have experienced abuse but do not wish to access residential services.
Clients are offered advocacy, abuse assessments, referrals to other agencies, safety planning, and other services specific to their unique needs.
The worker advocates for the client with other agencies as required and appropriate. This can include hosting case consultations with other agencies, assisting with paperwork, or accompaniment to court and other appointments.
