About this service
Our trained crisis team offers one-on-one counselling 24 hours a day. The crisis intervention team is trained to listen skillfully to clients, identify needs and strengths, and work together to accomplish goals. Our approach is client centered and culturally sensitive We aim to empower our clients to take back control over their lives. We respect their right to make their own major life decisions.
We offer an in-house women's group that runs once per week and is available to all shelter residents and outreach clients. This group offers information on budgeting, parenting, self-care, recognizing and coping with abuse, cooking and more.
We provide supported referrals and advocacy for clients with a variety of community agencies.
