Coordinated Access exists to assist with connecting people experiencing homelessness, or who are at risk of experiencing homelessness, with resources to secure or stabilize housing, and the necessary supports to maintain housing. We help with housing searches, liaise with landlords, make connections to external agencies for ID, bank accounts, income support, and make referrals to various counselling supports (e.g. addictions, parenting, budgeting), to name a few options. This role is supported by Reaching Home: Canada's Homelessness Strategy.
