About this organization
BCIS is a not-for-profit organization, which provides settlement and integration services to all immigrants, refugees, and temporary foreign workers. It is a project of Calgary Catholic Immigration Society.
Currently working on the ESDC funded project, that is designed to support Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs).
The aim of this Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) funded project is to establish a comprehensive and coordinated approach to meet the unique needs of TFWs, with a particular focus on those who are employed in rural areas and agricultural industry.
The goal of this project is to reach as many TFWs and see how we can assist their current needs as well as provide connection and resource for employers in case of emergency.
We provide online and in person information sessions on various topics and in various languages.
