About this service
By offering a comprehensive, effective Life Skills program to the people of Lethbridge and surrounding communities, we hope to enhance quality of life, assist other community organizations in meeting the needs of their clients, encourage higher levels of education, and address some of the inequities particular to this region and society in general.
We are committed to delivering a classroom-based program that will provide 15 weeks of group training focused on Self, Family, Leisure, Community and Job; combined with a mandatory 50h job placement program and about 60 hours in the Community Kitchen for cooking classes having the opportunity to take the recipes home and share them with their families. At the end of the program (if completed) they will be granted a certificate to continue on in the educational level they choose.
