About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE: Wellness Services is still providing services to the college community, just through different means of delivery. There are no on-site counselors available.
Recently launched program and includes:
- referral based service component
- making connections with students on campus
- awareness of services on campus
- building community relationships with AHS, ER and psychiatry
- advocacy for students experiencing mental health crisis
- help facilitating return to school and withdrawal with cause
- assessment prior to returning to assess accommodations and recommendations
- help navigating community services for students who require additional supports
- helping transition K-12 students into post-secondary by introducing students to student support specialist
