About this service
Rowan House Emergency Shelter is a short-term (30-day) womens shelter located in the High River area. Our purpose is to provide a safe, supportive environment for women and their children fleeing domestic violence. In-shelter support is available for women and children who find themselves in a crisis situation and in need of emergency housing.

24 beds in 7 bedrooms one of which is wheelchair accessible

Intake and Counselling rooms
Interfaith Spiritual Care room

Safety planning
Resiliency mapping
Resident focused goal setting
Community referrals and client advocacy in a number of different areas
