About this service

This program largely responds to needs such as:

  • Short-term interventions with families in crisis experiencing issues with their adolescent children
  • the majority of issues include parent-teen conflicts that are often complex

Equipping the parents and their children with the basic skills in the process of relationship building, communication, listening to each other's needs, and healthy ways of responding. Also, assisting families with referrals to a variety of resources (ie. mental health services, job services) so they can gain the knowledge and skills in dealing with the issues.
