Northreach GP - Prevention

Northreach GP - Prevention is a community-oriented program focused on harm reduction, overdose prevention, and comprehensive educational services related to health and safe practices. It offers tailored educational sessions, distribution of safer sex supplies, a self-referred Naloxone administration program, needle disposal services, youth testing, and women's health outreach,among other services. The organization also offers a needle distribution program, which incorporates office distribution, online form orders, and pharmacy supply. They offer support to homeless women, particularly during pregnancy and post-delivery, and facilitate HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia testing. However, they do not provide emergency housing solutions. Northreach is proactive in reducing harm associated with drug use and promotes healthier communities through resources, advocacy, and support.
