Spinal Cord Injury Alberta - Grande Prairie Region

Referral sources are Alberta Health Services, community-based, municipal, and include self-referrals. Our mission statement is to empower persons with spinal cord injury and other physical disabilities to achieve independence and full community participation. Areas of support are broad and tailored to the goals of the individual person. Goals may include form completion, accessing adapted equipment, advocacy, attending appointments, housing, information services, accessing community-based health professionals, social, recreational, and leisure services, sustainable income, and transportation. Services may be provided at the client's preferred location and are inclusive. We are happy to serve as a referral source and work with other community agencies for the best benefit of the individual, family, and support networks. The Grande Prairie office provides services throughout Alberta Northwest and will work with you to access support out of the region as needed.
