About this service
Out-of-School Care offers child care services to mothers staying at the Emergency or Second-Stage shelter, or those engaged in programs or outreach support. The friendly playroom provides a safe space for children while facilitating support to mothers regarding various parenting aspects. There's provision for respite care from Monday through Friday between 8:30am and 4:30 pm, excluding lunch hours and statutory holidays. This program, designed for school-aged children aged 6-16, operates from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm during the school year, with extended hours on school holidays. The service is not open on statutory holidays. Booking well in advance is encouraged due to limited space.
