About this service

At Grande Prairie Palliative Care Society, we have seen first had the financial burden a terminal illness can cause for a person and their family. Emergency financial support is available to individuals and their immediate family member who are dealing with a palliative diagnosis.

GPPCS One Time Funding is available (after all other sources of funding have been exhausted) to defray costs of:

  • counselling
  • medications
  • supplies
  • equipment
  • some extenuating circumstances.

The Society reserves the right to request receipts or invoices prior to releasing funds.

Those dealing with a palliative diagnosis after all other sources of funding have been exhausted
