GPPB - Immunization - Adult and Seniors Services

Provides immunizations for adults and seniors at community/public health centers across Alberta. This service provides routine immunization for adults and seniors. Suggested immunizations include a booster dose of tetanus/diphtheria vaccine every 10 years, an adult booster dose of pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine, often combined with one of the tetanus/diphtheria boosters (dTap), annual influenza vaccine for all Albertans 6 months of age and older, and pneumococcal vaccine for all adults 65 years of age and older and adults with certain health problems. For those in need of transportation to an immunization appointment in the Grande Prairie area, call Drive Happiness at 1-888-336-4503 extension 0 to request a volunteer driver to take you to your appointment. Leave a voicemail with your contact information and appointment details at least three business days in advance. All ages are eligible to use this service.
