About this service
Dementia Advice is a service that addresses the immediate needs of individuals with dementia and their caregivers. Dementia specialists provide health advice, education, community resources information, and emotional support. These services are available daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. by calling 811. After hours, Health Link staff assess patients' needs and offer immediate advice. If required, patients can receive additional advice from a specialist dementia nurse. This service is suitable for those with dementia or anyone concerned about someone with dementia.
