About this service
The FASD Family Support Program is a service dedicated to supporting parents, caregivers, and children aged 0-12 years who are dealing with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The program aims to educate and raise awareness about FASD to various stakeholders, including families, healthcare providers, and the community. It also aims to assist caregivers in developing new skills and strategies, as well as providing referrals to community services. Additionally, the program offers a FASD Youth & Adult Supports Program for individuals aged 13 and up who are suspected or diagnosed with FASD. This support includes goal setting, education, advocacy, life skills support, and referrals to resources. The FASD Navigator provides support, advocacy, and referrals to individuals suspected of having FASD.
