Crisis Response Management Certificate

The Crisis Response Management Certificate is a part of Community Support Training offered by Pace. This program is designed to equip community members, professionals, students, first responders, and frontline workers with the skills necessary to handle emergencies effectively. The certificate requires the completion of six core courses and 12 hours of elective courses offered through Pace. Topics covered include mental health first aid, intimate partner violence, crisis intervention, and more. The training is usually held in person in the fall and winter, but is also available to agencies and community groups outside these times upon request. They are also working on making the training accessible online. Workshops count towards Category A credits with the Alberta College of Social Workers, thanks to a partnership with Northwestern Polytechnic.
