About this organization

COVID-19 UPDATE: YMCA of Northern Alberta has closed all centres to the public and cancelled all programs and services. Until further notice, all of the following programs and services are no longer available: all YMCA Child Care programs, all health, fitness, and aquatic centres and community centres, and all YMCA programs that serve children and youth in schools. They will not be charging fees during this disruption in program and service delivery. Visit website for detailed updates.

The YMCA of Northern Alberta believes that violence in any relationship is unacceptable and that everyone exposed to family violence is impacted including unborn babies, children, youth and adults. We also believe that everyone has the capacity for change and growth and we will support anyone in an abusive relationship to get the help they are looking for.
