About this service
Court Orientation involves familiarizing victims of crime with the court process at the Grande Prairie Courthouse. This includes a tour of the building, answering victims' questions, dispelling misapprehensions, and reading or viewing their own statements to refresh their memory before a trial. The Victim Services office also provides court updates and support for victims both in and outside the courtroom. These services are part of the comprehensive support provided by the Grande Prairie & District Victim Services to victims of crime, trauma, and tragedy.
