Pink Room

At this exciting age, fast-paced development and endless exploration occurs. Our educators focus on the whole development of the child: social/emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and creativity. Children have daily opportunities to explore and learn about their environment in both indoor and outdoor settings. Play experiences are based on each childs needs and interests through observation while taking into account age-appropriateness. The children are encouraged to begin learning basic self-help skills such as using a spoon to feed themselves or staring to take off their shoes to go outside. Practicing basic self-help skills also helps to develop the childs fine motor skills. Creating respectful and responsive relationships is essential at this age. Our well-trained educators ensure your child is learning and experiencing new things each day while being cared for and nurtured in a safe and loving environment. The Pink Room is set up for ease of movement and safety. An educator is always nearby to support a child when needed. The children are given time and space to grow, to explore, to discover and to express themselves freely.
